Praise Report From Donner Roberson Meetings in Connecticut on July 19, 2009

Praise report received from Nigel Wynter in Connecticut

We really had a wonderful time and it was so encouraging to see what was accomplished through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Donner ministered to our home group on Friday the 17th. We had about 13 people present, including the wife of the Pastor of the church where Donner was to minister the following Sunday morning. During that time of ministry, the Lord healed one man's back and after Donner prayed for another older gentleman's eyes, he reported that he was able to see "a little better" - more about him later. During the fellowship time that followed, the Pastor's wife asked Donner if she could minister at the early Sunday service as well as the second (she was only supposed to do one service).

On Sunday morning, there were quite a few healings. A ministry line was called at the end of the first (8:30am) service, first for those desiring to speak with tongues. Four people came forward, and we were able to confirm that 3 of the 4 received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Then Donner called for a "whatever" line, and there were also 3 more backs that were healed, including one of the ushers who remarked that he felt "a warmth going through my back" and that he felt like he had "heating pads on both my feet". He stood amazed as he watched another man's foot grow out approximately two inches as Donner prayed - that man's back was also totally healed." I've never ever seen anything like that before!" the usher exclaimed.

Another amazing thing about that Sunday morning was that the ministry line from the first service stretched into the start of the second service which was scheduled to begin at 10:30. People arriving for the second service were being ushered in while ministry was still taking place. There was such a Peace during all this in the sanctuary that I had never seen in that church before. It was awesome! The last two people that Donner prayed for on that particular line was the worship leader and his wife. The wife, who was also the keyboard player was out on the floor for quite some time after being prayed for, along with her husband. The worship eventually started as the worship leader (after some time) made it back to his place behind the drums, but the team was without a keyboard player until about halfway through the second song when she was finally able to get up off the floor! Again, awesome!

Donner also got to pray for a preacher friend of mine who drove 1 1/2 hours from New York along with his wife to be at the service. He also received a healing in his back, so much so that he canceled his scheduled visit to the chiropractor the following day! He jokingly said to Donner, "You could put chiropractors out of business!"

Now back to the gentleman with the eyes who was prayed for the previous Friday night. This man has just started coming to our home group and is almost legally blind. After the Friday night meeting, he had a visit with his eye doctor the following Monday. I received a call that Tuesday afternoon that after seeing his doctor, he was told that his eyesight had improved to such a degree, that not only was he able to read two lines below where he could read from his previous visit on the eye chart, but instead of having to go back the following week as he had always done, the doctor told him that he wouldn't need to come back for TWO MONTHS! We believe that that what the Lord started He will finish, and that his eyesight will be FULLY restored! Amen!

Now for one more praise report. There was a woman who had stood in proxy for her son who was out in California. He had called her that morning requesting prayer - he was so sick with some kind of infection in his body, he wasn't able to go to church. His mom stood in the prayer line and called him afterward. Immediately - that day - he started feeling better, and by the next day, all the symptoms had all but disappeared! His mom was moved to give an offering to Donner*** - she was, in her words "did not want to miss her blessing". Yesterday I received a call from her that she had gone to a car dealership in response to a letter she had received. She ended up getting a brand new, 2009 car for almost fifty percent off the MSRP after all the rebates she received, including a discount for owning her old car which she NEVER EVEN HAD TO TRADE IN! Praise God, what a Blessing! Of course, she said she was telling people all aound the car lot "God did this, this is God!"

Needless to say, there are already inquiries as to when Donner is coming back to Connecticut. The Pastor's wife told her that she is always welcome. Donner did not meet the Pastor - he was out of town, but I'm sure he's already gotten the praise report from his wife (the Lord really ministered to her at the Friday night meeting at our home as well).

*** Donner teaches that we are blessed of the Lord as we obey Him and because He loves us so much. The financial blessing came to this woman because she obeyed what the Lord told her to do, not because there was anything special about giving to Donner's ministry.
