Evening of PEACE in our home
First evening of a short family Bible study went over pretty well, all things considered. Baby boy was just too tired after sitting through Mo's orchestra concert. He went to bed before we started reading. I decided to start it out as reading out of some Bible Story books we have that have a Q & A section after each story. After we finish reading those books we can move on to something with a little more "meat". I can already tell that the devil is trying to keep us from something as simple as reading the Bible together as a family. My work schedule has changed (for the worse in my opinion) and if we have any extra cirricular activites whatsoever this study/reading time is the only quality time I will have to spend with my family. This is only about 15 or 20 minutes. This makes my heart sad. I think I'm a pretty strong person spiritually but I think if the devil can't get to a mom, he immediately starts working on her kids and/or husband. I am seeing this in my family. I am praying for the health of my kids and strength and wisdom for my husband. With God, I know satan will have no power in my home.
My family has some serious choices to make in the near future. Please pray for wisdom to follow the right path and the courage to stay on it!! Thank you!

The enemy can only do what we allow him to do. We must continue to submit ourselves to the Lord, resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Have fun watching him run from you:)
