When I first stated making lenses (pages) on Squidoo, I felt like a first time dog in water. I really didn't know whether to sink or swim. The first thing I noticed was that there was not a Christian or religion category to list pages under. I later found someone who had a page speaking to that. They basically said that they could request such a classification but the general consensus was that the mix would be saltier if we simply found places within the other categories. Brilliant!
Yesterday I came across a lens asking people to comment on the many facets of abortion. What a pleasant surprise to find that the respondents were overwhelmingly pro-life.

What have you posted on Squidoo? Just curious. I think I like that better than Twitter. What can you say in 160 chars? :)
The referendum on abortion is intense.
I absolutely love technology.
I also agree that you mix in with what is out there. I remember hearing Paul Crouch from TBN many years ago. He said he did not want to be a part of an all Christian network. He wanted his channel if possible right next to Playboy so that the people may accidently tune in and hear the gospel. The whole point of media is to engage the culture where they are.
This is why I'm so glad to be a part of the Tulsa Family Prayer Center (TFPC) where they have a vision for media, especially the Internet. One of the reasons I started to visit there was hearing Gary Carpenter on his web site (before IktusNET) preach a message called Merging Wealth and Media. I will never forget thinking that if I ever got a real job with some real cash the first thing I would do would be to support anyone that had that vision along with not wanting to extort money out of people. BTW I did get a real job again and have kept that promise. This really excites me.
