“Macro” = shortcut. It is something that can automate a long list of actions you need to do to accomplish one task.
A macro rolls many steps into one.
Can I tell you the story of how a word (or Word) processing Macro helped my friend, Sheryl…one summer…
It was just before I was hired to work in Human Resources at the City of Orlando in beautiful, sunny, Orange County, Florida…I was hired by an insurance company to transcribe letters. These letters were extremely repetitious.
I worked with a…

THESE THINGS WE ALSO SPEAK, NOT IN WORDS WHICH MAN’S WISDOM TEACHES, BUT WHICH THE HOLY SPIRIT TEACHES
……I CORITNTH. 2 : 13 (NKJV)
‘FAITH’ is a commonplace terminology used by all and sundry irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
Etymologically, ‘FAITH’ denotes Trust, Belief, Loyalty etc.
Characteristically, ‘FAITH’ is much above the etymological depiction although its basis relates to the natural definition of the word itself. In its character, ‘FAITH’ has a supernatural emblem.…

There is a common misconception that when we become born-again, our spirit-man is fully grown and full developed in Christ, and all we have to do is tap into the great revelation that is in our spirit-man. The Bible says differently:
1 Peter 1:2
As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
When we come into the kingdom of God, we come in as babies, children. It is now up to us to grow up into the full-grown stature of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 4: 13 – 15
Till w…

Now let's expand on this and take a closer look at electrical circuits.
As I said, the first electrical circuits exist in nature as part of God's design. You have probably seen them in action. We call them lightni…

Mistakes, whether from ignorance or disobedience...are still mistakes, and they hinder us from allowing God to have His way, in every way.
I know some of the mistakes I made in the realm of Christianity these past 30 years. I want to do better the next 30; if we are on earth that much longer.
Recently I had a dream in which I actually FELT great sorrow over not leading folks I knew in the 1970's to Christ. (Don’t you love spiritual dreams? I do. God can get more across to me in a dream than I…

I'm posting this in two sections, partly because it turned out bigger than what I first thought it would, and I didn't want to use up too much bandspace at once. I also want to give people a chance to digest the first part before going on to the second. Enjoy!

In recent months, Gary Carpenter has been teaching some on Hope in relation to Faith as part of both the Face to Face and the Ephesians series. The key verse has been one of the most famous verses on Faith, Hebrews 11:1.
Heb 11:1 (N…

I had heard than an abortionist had been murdered. I do not keep up with too much news these days so I did not bother to find out any details about the story. Yesterday I happened to read an article on the Charisma web site that stated that the abortionist was the infamous late-term abortionist George Tiller from Kansas.
The first time I heard about this man was years ago listening to a talk radio program. He had been interviewed by Nightline. I heard audio of segments of the interview. If I re…

This walk is not about me, it is all about You Jesus. You are Lord, You sre King, You are Master, You are Savior! You You You, not me me me!! How quickly we can turn what God had started into our own works! He starts something beautiful and then we get right in the middle of it and try to make things happen - make it "better', make it happen quicker. When all were supposed to do is be submitted to Him - He does the work. We are a vessel for His grace. Grace is me letting You do what You want to…

So I've been watching LeSea Broadcasting tonight, and I think the dude on there now is Mike Murdock. Or Murdoch. Or Matt. Something. Anyway, he's talking about the 'Favor 40' - 40 people who
need to call in and donate at least $1000 on their bank card or credit card. He's convinced that he's
good soil for people to
sow into, but after a while I just got so tickled about it that I called the number on the screen.
To be honest, I thought I was gonna get some 30-something burn…

I love being a Christian. It is a walk with a true and living God. I will never forget the day I was born again. I was transformed and the change that took place inside of me is hard to describe; I had true peace and an absolute trust in something that could not be taken away—something eternal. Something had obviously happened to me. My world had not changed but my perspective had, and I began to see things and react to circumstances differently. I loved the new walk I had just started.
Looking…

I’ve heard Pastor Dave call a Stronghold “a system of thought empowered by emotions.”
Here is some info I found recently in a course of study in which I’m engaged that addresses Strongholds from a psychological stance.
As human beings, we all move towards that which is familiar. It’s a natural instinct to seek out familiar things because we are comfortable with them – be they people, places, or things. The same is true of feelings.
Feelings that are familiar give us a sense of security. Our…

Just a quick reminder:
That the passage in 1 Cor 3 is not an indicator that someone is going to escape from the eternal fire of hell (Mk 9:44). But rather, Paul is talking about the activity of our calling being judged.
We act and speak and influence others out of what we believe. If what we believe is false then we produce wood, hay and stubble. But the more we allow the Holy Spirit to purify our beliefs, then we will bring forth gold, silver and precious gems. The fire in this passage is tal…

Jesus commissioned His Church to
go and make disciples. He called His followers to go into the highways and byways and compel them to come in so His House could be full
(see Luke 14: 23 - And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled. ) .
We often overlook a very significant truth:
an unsaved person is spiritually dead and dead people do not walk to a Church.
Every generation face the temp…

What role does discipline play in a soldier's life?
As I said earlier, the basis of all discipline is self-discipline. A drill sergeant can yell and scream at you to get out of that warm bunk to get into uniform, get your boots on, make your bunk and be ready for first formation in fifteen minutes, but you are the one who has to make yourself peel off those covers, grab that uniform and those boots, get that bunk ready to pass inspection, and get outside no matter what the weather is. Basic tra…

I'll be missing IktusNetwork for at least a couple of weeks. This week and next is moving week for me and my family. We found a darling house, with the perfect yard and landscaping that the Lord has blessed us with (places for vegetable gardening). I call it our "revival" house. Looks like plenty of opportunities for spreading the love of God in our new neighborhood and in our backyard.
The Cable/internet goes down at the old place this week, and installation at the new house is several days af…
