Coming Home
I am from Tulsa, and having no other church home, one of the reasons for us to come to Tulsa is to raise our family under the teaching and anointing present at the Prayer Center. We are in Maryland currently and while we are doing things in the natural to make our trek home, the stresses of life are sometimes overwhelming. If you have a moment believe with us that our Father who wants us there, in Tulsa, is allowed to do His work in our lives and opens doors at the right times for us to have an easy transition. Moreover pray for me that I act in accordance to His will and hear His voice and have wisdom to obey. And finally for peace during this time because my pregnant wife could use a little peace. Thanks people

Wow! Do I understand what it feels like to want to be somewhere you are not! I agree with you, Dave, that you and your family will have peace, and will be led by the Holy Spirit and be released to the place, the people, and the work God has called you to. I moved to Tulsa in 2002 and only got to stay 7 months (and attended the Tulsa Family Prayer Center). I previously lived in Tulsa for 7 years in the 80's and 90's and my mom is a native Oklahoman (from McAlester), so "green country" is in my blood. I moved to Kansas to help my family through a crises and have been here in Wichita now for 6 years helping my brother raise his 3 children. It is sooooo difficult to be in a place that seems closed to revival, but (in my case) it is so wonderful being with my family, and knowing that God can use me to make a difference right where I am. I have come to learn that God never uses us for another, without giving us our heart's desires in the long term. Prayer and fellowship with God is first and wonderful, but He knows we are more than a spirit-being and we need practical fellowship with one another. Thank God for Iktus, bringing the Body of Christ together in it's unique way so we can pray for specific needs and feel the support of our brothers and sisters. You are in our prayers! Hang in there, Brother, I've walked where you are walking and the daily-ness of it can be hard; but the best is just around the corner! More glorious than we can imagine.
